- Introduction to Song-Writing (for teens) CLASS #232080
Introduction to Song-Writing will provide participants with additional tools and methods to assist them in the song-writing process. Topics will be somewhat self-directed towards the participants needs, but will aim to cover chord progressions, music structure, lyric content/style, discussion on what makes a good song, and playing together as a group. Students may wish to bring their instrument of choice to class (guitar or ukulele for example). A piano will be available in class for those who compose on piano.

Get into playing shape for band class this fall by joining in on this 3-week crash course in brass instrument playing! Designed for Grades 6-8 Band students (ages 10-14) the course will cover good embouchure and playing posture, warm up habits, mouth piece buzzing, scales, and playing together as a group. Students should bring their instrument with them to class, including: trumpets, trombones, euphoniums, baritones, and French Horns.
